Battlemouth

We’ve made some major changes here at Battlemouth. For starters we scrapped our tiny forums for something much more robust and easier to customize. BBPress as small as it was is extremely hard to move around in and wasn’t worth the frustration we were getting from it.

We also went ahead and disabled Disqus as it wasn’t showing our trackbacks and we’re getting a lot of them. It’s unfortunate but we had to do it.

From here on out we’re pretty much self reliant and aren’t pinned down using a 3rd party type system.

Edit -

1. I’ve removed the top navigation bar as it was a bit clunky and have moved the page listing to the sidebar.

2. I’ve also removed the search from the header and placed into the sidebar.

3. The borders around the features have been removed and I’ve added borders around the images instead. We’re letting the “whitespace” delegate the spacing on the site at this point.

4. There were some other minor changes that will go mainly unoticed.

We’re still in our first week here at Battlemouth so these changes were to be expected and it’s better we do it now rather than later.
