Battleblog

stumblefuck

They don’t. I’m not kidding. Bloggers that make numerous posts to their blogs enjoy stumbling their posts and letting their friends on StumbleUpon know about new stuff. Well I’ve hit a limit here at Battlemouth. I was trying to stumble something and it was not registering. I did a little research and lo and behold they put a limit on how much you can stumble from a specific url.

That my friends is horse shit. Total and absolute horse shit. What happens if I am a frequent visitor to the Guardian and stumble a lot of their content? Will you limit me then? They are a publication who are always posting new content. Why limit the amount of content I can “thumb” from a specific site.

The best part about their little F.A.Q. section? Once you’ve hit the limit it can’t be removed. Don’t believe me? Click here for the F.A.Q.

I used to think you had a superb service until I hit this limit. Am I mad? Sure I am. It’s a ridiculous rule to have. Sure I was stumbling posts from my own site that I thought my friends would like but what happens when I stumble posts from other sites I enjoy? Are you going to limit me then as well?

Take the limits off and allow people to “thumb” whatever they want. You reasoning makes no sense. Does anyone know of another service like StumbleUpon that doesn’t limit the amount of pages I stumble from the same site? I’m looking to change unless something is done about this.
