It was supposed to happen Thursday or so it seemed. The FCC was supposedly close to an approval on Wednesday night. However, Thursday came and went and nothing, same with Friday. Sources say the merger should be approved by the begining of this week. When the merger between these two satellite radio companies is complete it will create the largest satellite radio network with over 17 million subscribers.
